HEARTGARD PLUS CHEWABLE Merial Real-beef chewable helps prevent heartworm disease by eliminating the tissue stage of heartworm larvae for 30 days after infection. Also a highly effective treatment and control of two species of ascarids and three species of hookworms. Wide margin of safety for all sizes and breeds of dogs. Approved for use in puppies as young as 6 wks, small dogs regardless of weight, pregnant or breeding dogs, stud dogs and Collies. Each recommended dose level provides 2.72 mcg of ivermectin per lb body wt and 2.27 mg of pyrantel per lb body wt. Dosage: 1 chewable per month by hand or in food. Available in three weight ranges (0-25 lbs, 26-50 lbs, 51-100 lbs) in 6 or 12 dose boxes. For dogs over 100 lbs, use appropriate combination.

3. Your veterinarian may either:
