D3 Detectable Needles

The first needles designed with strength and detectability to help keep needles out of meat products. This patented technology features a detectable alloy added to the canula of the D3 which allows it to be as much as 100% detectable in metal detection systems, in the event of a broken needle in the animal's skin. The thick-walled canulae are crimped and pressed into sturdy plated brass hubs for increased load strength. Ultra-sharp, three-point precision ground tips provide sharper cuts and easier penetration; stay sharp longer. Bending and breakage is reduced by more than 6-fold over conventional needles, making them last 3 times longer. Specifically designed for production animal use and processing plant detectability. Sold individually.
